Every morning starts like this.
Is it any wonder I cannot wait to get to work?

About Kevin Nairne

For my many sins in life, I write sales copy, information tutorials, and yes — I even write books. I also build sales pages and generally involve myself in all aspects of online marketing.

My wife recently asked me why I am still working at nearly 70 years old.

The answer is quite simple.

What else would I do?

  • Play golf?

  • Play bowls?

  • Join a senior citizen association?

  • Buy a pre-paid funeral package?

For nearly 70 years I have lived life on my own terms — as much as humanly possible.

I am always up early. I cannot get started working quickly enough. Most mornings I am rewarded with a sunrise like the one above. That alone is worth getting out of bed for.

I usually work until lunchtime. And then I start playing.

I enjoy challenging my brain, and nothing is more challenging than creatively writing content that makes people open their wallets. Most people find it difficult and unpleasant. Me? I find it exhilarating and mentally rewarding.

I still have the interest, the skill, and more enthusiasm than a room full of teenage cheerleaders — why on earth would I stop?

I have had one job in my entire life. Back in my twenties. Everything since has been built on three simple principles:

  • I only do things I enjoy doing

  • I rarely exchange time for money

  • I find out what people genuinely need — and give it to them properly

I learned my skills from experience. And believe me — in the beginning, I struggled.

Most of what I know came the hard way — from mistakes, wrong turns, and a great deal of persistence. I am as tenacious as a honey badger in pursuit of an objective.

Yes, that’s really me

Loud. Unusual.
Occasionally Weird.

I am not the most patient man in the world. I am occasionally grumpy. I will tell you things other people are too polite to say.

I am very vocal and not afraid to share my thoughts.

I’m unusual — some would say weird. And I obviously eat too much.

But I can write bloody good copy and I know how to attract customers.

I charge a fraction of what people with half my experience charge.

…and I like to stay busy.

My other office.

Where the Best
Ideas Come From.

I do a lot of my thinking away from the desk. I take my e-bike out to beauty spots, sit by the sea, and write down whatever comes to mind.

Some of my best work has started as a scribbled note by the water with a view like that behind me.

Inspiration tends to arrive when you stop looking for it.

I have the greatest job in the world.

Money is a big part of what I do — but more important is the enjoyment and the feeling of fulfilment I get from my work. There is no better feeling than knowing you have helped someone overcome their problems and taken them even a tiny step closer to achieving their dream. That never gets old.

I live a perpetual summertime lifestyle. Based in the Philippines for most of the year — which suits me perfectly — and back in the laughingly referred to UK summer for a few months to remind myself why I prefer the Philippines.

My rooftop office. That is what I can see from my desk right now.

Unless it is cool — which it very rarely is.

Big corporate fulfilment contracts? That boat sailed a long time ago and I watched it go with absolutely no regret whatsoever.

For the past fifteen years I have chosen to work only on projects I find interesting, for people who are serious about building something worthwhile.
